Everybody believes something. If they share what they believe, like this post, then they are sharing their religious beliefs.

Can we replace the word religious with spiritual ? please ?

Not having a religious belief is a bit of a different thing.
NewBecky · 51-55, F
@GoldenWorm: Everyone has a religious belief. Atheism is a religion and it does indeed proselytize.

Atheism is a religion like not collecting stamps leads to a stamp collection. There's no book, no priests, no temples. I know its hard for the religious to understand that life goes on perfectly well without all that but it does. It's rather offensive for you to tell me I'm in a religion when I decidedly am not.

@sailnude: We are talking about freedom from religious beliefs that impede spiritual evolution.

@GoldenWorm: Atheism is a belief system which requires faith in the ability of dna to be organized without a designer or creator. It requires much faith, and it is a faith which does proselytize.

3 simple observations:

1. Even the dna of a "simple" amoeba is very complex

2. Goo assembling dna is impossible, but atheism has faith it happened. But then it would also have to spring into life! When you die, your body will yet have very complex dna, but what good is it if you are dead?

3. Next, the atheistic faith holds that this dna also happened to give the ability to replicate.

When people observed a rock on mars which had right angles on it, they already began to suspect intelligent design. Yet, dna is so much more complex than a rock with right angles. It is far easier to expect a designer/creator than it is to have faith that it formed by chance.

I have an advanced degree in molecular biology. You don't need supernatural forces to get biology to work. You're making an argument from ignorance.

@GoldenWorm: I am talking about the life of an original single cell organism. If you believe life is so simple that it can happen by chance.., then make it happen on purpose. You should give life to the dieing if it is so simple to you.

"You should give life to the dieing if it is so simple to you"<--this is really disgusting. DO you talk like this to people you know?
NewBecky · 51-55, F
@GoldenWorm: You called life simple and said it does not require the supernatural, So, I'm asking you to support the giving of life to simple beings that already have dna. Support your claim.
