I think the thing I hate most in religion generally speaking is the obsession with shame

and the want to punish ones self, put shame upon and punish others for your own learned or personal self hatred.

Sadly their own shame isn't an island unto themselves, they have to drag everyone else into it and inflict it upon innocent people. Treating women badly, treating gay people badly, treating everyone and themselves badly. Human beings are weirdos man, keep that bs to yourself if you have nothing nice to say and live your short life without ruining someone else's.

The older I get the less patience and empathy I can have for this kind of crap.
