It's not outdated or absurd. Muslims in India have more than enough reason. Ever since Modi/BJP has been in office hate crime against Muslims has increased by a lot. BJP and its affiliate organisations openly target Muslims and even Sikhs across India and have benefited enormously from such polarisation at elections.
From the genocide in kashmir, to the exclusionary citizenship amendment Bill, there's more than enough reasons for Muslims to be outraged.
Also, India produces the most movies in the world and has the second biggest film industry so turns out people buy a lot.

@HijabaDabbaDoo That's totally understandable and you have a very valid point. Apologies if I made you feel uncomfortable.
I'm just referring to the Arabs who really have no clue who is oppressing who, if they do they could have taken action years ago. They are only hashtaging and raging because the prophet was mentioned that's all they know about the whole thing really. That to me doesn't make their case valid. We can do better that's all I'm saying. People can have opinions and can criticize. Oppression is horrible from all directions and nobody deserves it.

Boycotting a developing democracy is generally pretty cringe. Their leadership as of late has seemed pretty degenerate though, so I wouldn't defend them. Im sure they're doing everything they're accused of.
PiecingBabyFaceTogether · 31-35, M
@BlueVeins I'm not defending them all I'm saying is that Arabs are only pissed because the prophet was critized that's all that matters to them. They don't really care who is oppressing who they just don't want anyone to say their personal opinion about their precious. Same with France I think a year ago and all the caricature drama.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether aye all I wanna say is that I have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about, sorry for obfuscating with the 'defend' shit lol
PiecingBabyFaceTogether · 31-35, M
@BlueVeins It's cool lol
PiecingBabyFaceTogether · 31-35, M
The thing is in the Arab world nobody knows anything about these details they only want people to not say their opinion about the religion or the prophet. They really don't care who is oppressing who or why.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Hugs back*
And it's not just the fact that they don't care about minorities, and it can't change which makes me sick to my core
They don't care about each other either. They really don't. It's their own that suffer and they are completely silent about it all. Whether be it Palestine, Oman, Kuwait, Algeria, Tunisia...
Doesn't matter where.
As an ex-Muslim you find yourself standing with a selected few if not none. And because you care too much, you even find yourself defending their rights while they'd never do the same for you. And you know it, you know they are selfish cowards and will back stab you any time they get ,or pull away and leave you speaking up alone.
You're on your own, I mean in your own community, and I am tired of carrying the weight of failures of an entire f-king people, whether my people or theirs.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether If I sound angry, that's because I really am. But I am sorry if it is too much to deal with. I know how tough your life is and would never desire to make it more difficult.
PiecingBabyFaceTogether · 31-35, M
@Miram You're not making anything difficult for me ❤ I totally get why you think so because same here I don't want you to be angry and get depressed you have your own share of stuff too.

Arabs act like Indians and other ethnicities don't get targeted in Arab countries.
I used to wish to see Arabs growin the fuk up from their victim complex and address problems created by their own, inside their own communities. But now I know it will never ever happen..
They are stuck in a narrative where they get to feel offended over words even though LIVES are being lost because of their indifference right next effing door..
They will never grow up and the west encourages it.
The american president heading to saudi to suk cok of the same guy who shelters the murder of an american journalist and no one says shiit about that
The guy that have death squad against opposition and melts their corpses in acid.
If it wasn't for the west sheltering injustice, things like that would have never happened.
The ideology of the MAJORITY does not need be sheltered from criticism..

@Miram Thank you!! You typed exactly what I wanted to deliver. It's pathetic. There's this book called
"العرب ظاهرة صوتية" Arabs are an audio phenomenon. Which was written by a Saudi ex Muslim who also studied in Alazhar and he figured this shit out decades ago. He was kicked out of the kingdom till his death in Egypt.

They never fuking get outraged over how many of us ex-muslims get murdered.
Never get outraged for the LGBT being harassed and murdered either
Never get outraged for how corrupted their Imams are building castles after castles from charity money.
Never outraged by the amount of sexual assault within families never mind in the streets
Never outraged about terrorist bombings linked directly to Saudi
Never outraged about Yemen and flooding Twitter against Gulf countries killing fellow muslims
Never outraged about my people being butchered into near extinction
.And the list is endless..
But wait, someone in india said something about Mohamed, let's all fix that by going to twitter.

An indian MP on a heated tv debate about religion retaluated to comments made about hinduism said something about the Prophet marrying a child aged 6 and consummated the marriage at the age of 9 and that this is disgraceful.
She was suspended by her party and she has apologised and formally retracted her statement ... but it is not enough.
This is another episode in the ongoing problems in the way that India treats its minorities.
India exports oil, rice, gold, tea and medicines

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether i would not have answered if i was uncomfortable.
Personally i do think Modi has not acted well towards muslims in India, but i think this incident has been blown out of proportion.
Muslims do not like discussing the fact Aisha was a child when she got married. To condemn it would be condemning Muhammed and to condone it would be condoning sex with a child.

In every religion there is something that is disagreeable and if someone feels their religion is being attacked they will retaliate.
What she said was not untrue though.

@InOtterWords That's true that there are disagreeable aspects of every religion, but it's the reason it's brought up that I'm calling out. The people on SW who bring it up aren't trying to have an actual religious debate, they're just picking on one thing they know is controversial and "touchy" and using it to antagonize. It's done in bad faith.
