I Believe Religion Should Stay Out Of Public Schools

To learn about, yes. Everyone can benefit from learning about the world's religions. However, they should not be taught dogmatically in public schools.

My kids learned briefly about other religions when they studied cultural geography and cooking. In what way do you believe religion should be part of education?

You can not keep religion out of school since humanity is innately religious. You have a religion and don't even know it or at least won't admit it.

Then why are you posting in the group that says it doesn’t ? There are classes in many schools that give an overview of the leading world faiths, and specific schools where children can be taught in their parents’ faith. But it doesn’t seem fair to expect public schools, which are paid for by the taxes of citizens of all faiths (and atheists)to hold mandatory religious classes.
