Besides Jesus, there's nothing in this universe more precious and beautiful than that! I could not be more proud of you. I am certainly rejoicing with you. You just made the most important decision of your life. You will see that as you go along, even more. I know for a fact that God is so proud of you.
Then guess what happened...
Every time someone comes to Jesus and invites him into his or her heart and life as Savior, thousands upon thousands of angels in heaven, Rejoice! That person is honored by all the angels in heaven rejoicing, with great celebration! Wow, can you imagine what that sounds like?!! Legions of angels rejoicing over you and your decision. All the Angels clapping and singing and rejoicing over one who has come to Christ. What an honor!
The Bible doesn't state a fixed number for all angels in heaven, but in Matthew 26:53, Jesus mentions He could summon "more than twelvelegions of angels," a vast, powerful army (around 60,000 or more) to rescue Him, indicating an immense, uncountable host of heavenly beings beyond that specific number. And all were rejoicing over your commitment to Christ. Praise God!!!
But there's something else! The moment you said yes to Jesus, he sent his Holy Spirit to live in you and transform your mind and spirit by His presence and power. You have been SEALED by the Holy Spirit of Promise! You are His adopted child! ❤🫂🎉

@LadyGrace It's like I knew during the entire service we were going to have an alter call & I've been a not so nice person and I cried alot yesterday. I think when the Spirit touches me, it's so overwhelming it makes me cry. I was telling Jesus I'm sorry for the things I've done & tears were streaming down my face & when our Pastor made an alter call, I was the first one up there!!! It felt so wonderful!
@Tumbleweed Yes, you experienced the calling of the Holy Spirit, inviting you to accept Jesus into your heart and life as your personal Savior. He spoke to your heart, helping you realize that you needed Jesus in your life to forgive you of your sins and wash them all away. And that's exactly what Jesus did, when you prayed and ask him to forgive you of your sins. One cannot help but cry under the powerful touch and calling of the Holy Spirit. It is the most powerful and beautiful moment in the world, to be touched by eternal God through the Holy Spirit. He is the third person of the Trinity and He was sent to you and now abides in you forever. When He touched your spirit and you said yes to God, he transformed your heart and life forever. The Holy Spirit now lives inside of you, guiding and teaching you who God is, and his ways. The more you read your bible, the closer you will be in fellowship to God, because you will get to know him better through his words in the Bible. The sins he has forgiven, he remembers no more. They were all washed away by the blood of Jesus and remembered no more. This it's called the new birth. You are a new member of Heaven, a born-again Christian. Touched and transformed by the Holy Spirit of God. When the same happened to me, and this is surely not something someone can make up because they don't really understand what it is like until they experience it themselves, I wrote down the date in my Bible that I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior, as this is the biggest event that could ever happen in one's life. The holy spirit will teach you many many things and it's important that you learn and grow in the Holy Spirit. Just like a person needs food to live, we need to feed the Holy Spirit, so to speak, through God's word. This is how we learn and grow through Christ. He is the wisest teacher one can have and he will teach you what the word means and how to apply it to your daily walk with him. There is no wisdom like God's wisdom. When Jesus washed all your sins away, it's the best feeling in the world and when Jesus went to his father on your behalf and ask him to forgive you of your sins, He gladly did so. All your sins were washed in the blood of Jesus and you are declared as righteousness before God the Father. He sees you as righteousness. Meaning, He does not see your sins, as they have been all erased... obliterated by the blood of Jesus. This is called"justification by faith", meaning that believers are declared righteous not by their own works, but by God's grace through faith in Jesus. First, you were born of the flesh through your mother's womb. But this is different. God brought your dead spirit to life, through the Holy Spirit, when you accepted Jesus as your Savior. You have been born of the Spirit now, and he brought your spirit to life and will never leave you nor forsake you. I see that I have written something very long and didn't realize it. When or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to write me. I am always here for you. The Bible says many people won't understand this transformation of the Holy Spirit because they have not experienced being born-again, so it says not to just listen to anyone who comes along claiming to know Christ. That is very important. You will also be running into people who will criticize and even hate you, so just be aware of that and ignore them. They don't understand. They can't, until they receive forgiveness and then the Holy Spirit. The Bible talks about this.
@Tumbleweed Yes, you did know there was going to be an altar call the whole service, because the Holy Spirit was speaking to your heart and told you so, and this was when he was inviting you to make that choice to follow Christ as your Savior. That was no accident. The Holy Spirit came to you and spoke to your heart, and you received what he said, as he urged you to do, and you acted on that. This is so good. Never allow anyone to tell you that did not happen. You know it did, and God is no liar. Those the Lord sets free are free indeed.

@Tumbleweed awesome
Was it emotions or was it seeing the depth of your sin and the need of a Saviour?
Tumbleweed · F
@BritishFailedAesthetic It was both. Knowing I am a sinner and I need a Savior is an extremely emotional experience.
@Tumbleweed Thankyou for sharing. I will DM you some things that helped me grow in Christ but over here it's the evening so will do tommorow.
