Church yesterday

was the first time in a long time that I didn't enjoy it. I knew I had to leave early so I was already distracted by that, had to sit in a different pew than usual so I could get mom moving and the family who sits in front of her is very difficult to tune out, too much chatter from 11-12 and finally the Pastor was getting his preach on and I had to leave 15 minutes later. UGH. I usually find the most peace and comfort in church but yesterday was just sooo off.

Gossip seems to have taken over from prayer. I’m used to it now. I pray before going to church these days. Then listen to other people’s needs when I’m there.

People are very lonely, we need to build up community.
