Mostly.. Anyone who believes they have found the one true path tends to look down at any with different beliefs to bolster their own ego..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Two of the key functions of Christians meeting together are to pray and care for each other.

@Ferise1 Ahh! There we disagree. They may attempt to make you feel they know better. But its up to you whether to accept their perspective. I figure they cant prove a thing. Shrug it off. 😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I find these days that people want to chat. Find out their needs, follow this up, get to know them. You can always pray silently afterwards.

@peterlee I agree and its a great theory. As for praying......Personally i think the idea that a being capable of creating and running a whole universe being in the least interested in a bunch of people or their knees or singing at him is ridiculous.😷

@peterlee True. And I wont be so churlish as to say I have not throwm up the odd prayer in moments of the deepest fear and despair. No Atheists in foxholes...😷

@whowasthatmaskedman they use religion to abuse people in subtle ways

@Ferise1 We agree.. And some not so sutle. The Crusades, the Spanish inquisitions and Gaza all come to mind..😷

@peterlee Gods goodness is present in Gaza. Though it is difficult to see.

However in England we are limited about what we can say, as the British government has curtailed our freedom of speech.

The Starmer government needs a lot of prayer and forgiveness.

As for running the Universe, God sent his own son to Earth to take away the our sin, and bring us reconciliation with Him. Pure grace.
