I Dont Go to Church

I'm a non-denominational Christian. I don't attend church.
A. Because I believe organized religion is merely a means of controlling people, And
B. Because I haven't found a single church that I can agree with enough to justify going.

Interesting. But everyday I see a new type of Christian popping up..

@PeaceandCompassion: A lot of us are, I hope you find the truth.
SW-User
@MartinTheFirst: It depends on how strong your beliefs are, often I find my faith to dwindle during bad times lol

@QueenOfQuirk: Indeed, it needs to be taken care of and fed, or else it will diminish and become weak.

It's great how you don't discard religion but do think for yourself.

I don't deny I have a lot to learn. After all, I've only been living this life for 19 years. However, I ask you be respectful of others as they continue on their journey, and if you believe yourself to have found the truth, share it in a Christ-like manner.

I'm an atheist, but your views on organized religion are arrogant and not informed.

Then please inform me.

It seems to me there are as many kinds of christians as there are christians. Why do you think that is?
PeaceandCompassion · 26-30, F
Everyone's on their own personal journeys. As people seek the truth, they tend to break off in search of it, and I hope one day, we can all converge again when the fullness of truth is discovered.

@PeaceandCompassion: you and Deepak Chopra should hang out.
PeaceandCompassion · 26-30, F
@Doomflower: I'll be sure to look him up.

Try a Kingdom Hall, give it a shot.
Doomflower · 36-40, M
@MartinTheFirst: I don't fear the end times. I am telling you that you're a pretty sick person for hoping that they will happen.

You hope for paradise for you and death for everyone else. Oh you don't want them to die so much but you're fine with most of the world being killed for not picking the right version of your magic jew story.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Doomflower: Your condescending ways do not bite on me.

Indeed let's not call it a cult, because it isn't one, that's a fact.
Doomflower · 36-40, M
@MartinTheFirst: It is a cult but I don't expect you to see it as you're currently in one. Most cult members don't believe they are in a cult until they get out.
