Tithe your money and test God. He will pour down heaven and you will have more than enough!

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." Malachi 3:10

@Carazaa tell us again how many boats you owned ?
All that bibling and you cant see when someone is hurting
Carazaa · F
@NOS4R2 I am here to share how God has blessed me with peace because I trust him. We should not be worried about money, we should not be materialistic. Money doesn't make us happy, but God will give us peace and he promises to supply all our needs. Do not worry, tithe your money, love your enemies, and trust in God! He will bless you. " My own will never beg for bread" He says. Yes I have owned boats but it is irrelevant.
NOS4R2 · 41-45
@Carazaa its not irrelevant.
Its VERY relevant. In fact its SO relevent it makes you a hypocrite. Especially when you say, quote:
., we should not be materialistic. Money doesn't make us happy
.
Seems to have made you pretty happy at times in your life.

But congratulations. In all your faith and bible quoting, you somehow managed to miss the point of sharing, let alone feeling any christian compassion. WHILE making someone else feel guilty for suffering, and then making it all about you

Jesus was about love, kindness and helping the needy. Compassion. Empathy. Love for thy neighbour.
None of which you have shown here.
Not one iota of genuine, heartfelt feeling for a fellow human being in strife.
Just virtue signaling
😡

God helps those who help themselves. That was a principle taught by the ancient Greeks. But it is true for us today, too.

Working too hard only to make yourself miserable is counterproductive in your life. You know that, but you've been fighting it. Now is the time to begin understanding that unhappiness or misery is God's way of telling you that you are on the wrong path.

Find a job you really enjoy. Those who love their work never work another day in their lives!

I respect everyone regardless of their ideas about faith but saying give part of the money you have that doesn't even pay your bills to a church is imo really not any kind of answer. So you're supposed to just leave it in gods hands as you're being evicted because you can't pay rent? If it worked that way no one would be homeless.

Church is Church a place you can hear the word but you dont need church and church isnt meant to make your life better its just a community for people who are wanting to be God's people or know of god a guide like many others but you do not need church for better you need faith.

Knowing that in the storm the worst tide you face can be better with the faith of the Lord. God is God and church is church. Only God can make things turn on your favor it sucks but the only way ro change or see better comes suffering and in faith with God he will bless you & keep you going and afloat even better. Society makes it hard but with God you will be guided in the roght direction.

@Tumbleweed {{{HUGS}}} Get some rest. Being THAT tired is affecting your entire outlook on life. QUIT one of those jobs the MOMENT you find another job.
Tumbleweed · F
@4meAndyou 🫂 And both jobs together don't even cover the rent, let alone lights, phone, groceries or gas. I also have no insurance so there goes my meds...
Carazaa · F
@Tumbleweed Don't give up!
HumanEarth · F
Don't start having doubt. Doubt is like poison. It leads to a loss of faith and in yourself.

The jobs are just to keep you going till something better comes along. Them jobs are to tie you over.

Hang in there, don't loose faith now. Trust me, better is just around the corner.
Remember it's solely by God's grace we are saved.

Find a good Bible believing Church which has services/ Bible studies around your schedule.

I understand.
In my belief there are many paths to God.
What's your denomination?
Tumbleweed · F
@basilfawlty89 I've never heard of that.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Tumbleweed Oldest Monotheistic religion.
Tumbleweed · F
@basilfawlty89 Ok I'll have to check it out. I'm pretty much done with religion. Again. I've been through this before. And I'm tired.
TexChik · F
You can have faith in God while avoiding being manipulated by religion.
TexChik · F
@Tumbleweed Aww. Jesus didn't get a free or easy ride either. May God's grace and guidance help you find what you need. 😊
Tumbleweed · F
@TexChik Thank you, love 🫂
I do try to keep that in mind when I'm feeling sorry for myself but I'm just so tired.

Forget Sunday church why do that when you can make me Sunday dinner 🍽
Churches are like corporations, with one exception. Employees (parishioners, subjects) don't get paid. Only the church gets paid.
