@jshm2 Church attendance will likely continue declining unless something drastic happens. People talk about the Great Spiritual Awakening as if it was such a good thing. The Great Spiritual Awakening is what produced all the false Christian denominations we have today. It was really just Pastors caving into their congregations, telling them what they wanted to hear. And if one Pastor doesn't tell you you're free to sin and do evil, the next Pastor will.

@Jokersswild Please do remember that being religious or not is a personal choice, and so is your denomination.
I know there are a lot of bizarre organisations, even cults, based on pastor-power more than theology. I call them "para-Christians"; but you don't have to play their games and you always convert to another.
After all the genuine Christian denominations of Anglican, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, United Reform, perhaps a few others, are all worshipping the same deity even if their liturgy differs. And they don't preach being "sinful" if by "sin" we mean hamring others!
