So today I went to my church for the first time since the pandemic... [I Go to Church]

We were about to be dismissed and one of the Revs said, "oh before we go, I want to acknowledge our visitor. (As he points) "You, right there in the middle, please stand and state your name and what church you belong to".

I looked around like WHO is he talking to?

I pointed at myself, and he was like, yes you.

The (small) church said, "that's Nikki, she goes here"..

I guess I should have made a joke and stood up and said that myself, hi I'm nikki, I am a member here

I mean we were wearing masks and 8 haven't been in 8 months but, I've been going there since 16...🤷‍♀️

@Ksmile14 no but I told myself I'd start going along with it. It happens TOO often for me not too. For example, I was buying school supplies for my niece one day and got asked what grade I was going to. Like seriously, even if I WERE in school, do you think I'd be needing colored pencils and Elmer's glue?🙄
