I Am Not Against Religion, Just the Crimes Done In Its Name

over the past few weeks when going into town and the shops near me , I have seen a young muslim girl around my age shopping as well , she always stared at me , and I felt like I knew her from somewhere , and I realised we used to go to high school together , we werent in the same classes or social group , but over the few weeks when ive seen her , ive realised how much shes changed , she wears a hijab now which covers most of her face leaving only her eyes to view , I dont think its a burqua because it doesnt cover all her body , her eyes look really sad , shes always accompanied by a male , she seems nervous and quite . at school she was chatty , would always wear a lot of makeup , really beautiful makeup . I cant stop thinking about her and worrying about her despite the fact we barely knew each other .

Yes, this is a shame, and not necessary. God looks at the heart, not at rituals. One cannot earn their way to heaven.
