No. Doctors talk about disease for money. They are trained and practice in industrial facilities that were founded and funded by the Robber Barons. Like J.D. Rockefeller who once sold his father's cancer medicine that consisted of laxative and petroleum oil. All of the rich industrialists lobbied, that is paid the greedy and corrupt politicians to chase the real doctors out of the country and make the natural option, which is more educated and effective, illegal. The doctors don't learn anything about disease, they treat symptoms with toxic, synthetic, carcinogenic, addictive medicines because you can't patent anything natural. They HAVE to do what the greedy murdering pharmaceutical, insurance and hospital administrations say.
Atheists in general, the majority of atheists, apathetic, don't talk about God at all. They consider it a waste of time. Which is why the minority of atheists, militant, are the loudest. Especially on the internet. Militant atheists only talk about God due to ideological frustration in a quasi-theocratic world. They don't educate themselves on the subject, they only repeat talking points. They really don't care about God, or any god, the Bible or sacred texts, religion, theology, they only care about control.
So, while your argument may sound good, it isn't very sophisticated or accurate. It isn't realistic or scientific. This is most obvious if you compare the charitable work done by religion compared to atheism. Also if you take the answer of atheism, what is it? That we came from some common but unknown ancestor millions of years ago. What benefit is that to anyone? Medical science research? Medical science is almost non-existent, It's all about promotion and advertising. Money. Okay, what is the answer given by religion? Either heaven, nirvana, everlasting life in paradise. etc. . . . what benefit is that to anyone? If science is right then there is no benefit beyond the temporal and monetary. If it's wrong and religion is right millions of people will be missing out on some pretty incredible things. That isn't even to mention that what ever society you live in the civilized world - especially occidental culture - it was predicated upon by the formulation of mythical presupposition. Your world was built by religion, for better or worse. The latter in my opinion, and science itself along with public education likewise.
Take away money and ideology and let people believe what they want without class struggle. Be open to alternative but realistic possibilities without limiting another. It isn't about knowledge and faith, it's about money and ideology. That needs to but will never change because of what people REALLY care about. Their REAL motivation.
