Going to a supermarket market on a Sunday, these are cathedral like buildings.
It has loads of followers in the UK.
And older people walk round them on weekdays, like a rosary walk.
They buy a lot of junk food which endangers their health. I think this is called fasting.
And the elderly give to a charity there called Scratch Card.
You cannot be a full member of this cult until you are 25, when you can buy your first razor and bottle of wine.
There are rituals too, at the self checkouts. AI blesses you by saying ‘ Unrecognised item in the bagging areas’ and assists you by asking ‘Do you need more time’. A very welcoming church.
This religion is called consumerism. It is very real and affects us all.
