I’ve always been jealous of people who find comfort and peace in a religion.

It must be nice believing to your core you are never really alone.

I wish I had a belief system like this.

I like what Grace said. Religion is different than actually have a personal relationship with God. Jesus love all of us! I denied him for a long time. Then one day I started reading the Bible. I began in Revelations of all things. After Revelations, I started at the beginning of the New Testament. Let me tell ya, it came alive for me. Whenever I was struggling, I opened the Bible and it had the answer to my problem. Something inside of me kept tugging on my heart and I finally stopped pushing him away. I have a lot of courage, strength, joy and serenity in my life now because I have a personal relationship with Jesus. I went to different churches until I found one that felt like home. I felt extremely uncomfortable at first. Then I started meeting other gals at church. They are the funnest, wildest, kindest people that I have met. Now, I get excited every Sunday to go. I embraced the awkwardness and pushed myself to go. Now, I'm a completely transformed woman through Christ. January 1, 2021 I accepted him into my heart.
@Promises Indeed.... Jesus and His Word, have all the answers for us. The Holy Spirit through God's Word, does speak to our hearts and only he can give us that peace and joy that we need. Great testimony, sister. Jesus is in the business of transforming lives and hearts.

@Promises But we’re not all Christian, and not all religions revolve around the Nazarene.
@Promises he is the way the truth and the life, no one goes to the father except through him.

@Promises Well said. It's a personal choice and having a relationship is different from religion.
