Here are some facts about the Bible

It was written by a bunch of local Shepherds who didn’t know where the Sun went at night. Every single story takes place on a tiny speck of land in the eastern Mediterranean. It was nothing more than a local book.

The only reason Christianity has spread around the world is because of the unspeakable brutality of five colonial powers.

Don't let your ignorance get in the way of facts. 2000 years ago the Mediterranean was the centre of the civilized world.

The Bible wasn't written by shepherds. The various books were written by a diverse group of men. The Bible was put together at the Council of Nicea.

The Catholic Bible has a couple of more books while the Ethiopian Bible has the most.

A lot of the events mentioned in the Bible can be confirmed by Roman historians such as Jocephus, Pliny the Elder, and Pliny the Younger to name a few.

What's remarkable about the Bible is that after all these years it's still relevant.

When does not need to be a believer to appreciate the importance of this book. Just because you don't believe in it doesn't mean you need to disparage it.

@Hinckley the only reason the bible is still relevant, as I mentioned, is that it was forced upon the rest of the world through unspeakable violence
@iamthe99 I disagree with that statement.

@Hinckley why?
