I feel we've been manipulated, lied to and mis guided. I'm not a Christian. I am however a follower of Christ! There's to much guilt, shaming, hypocrisy and hurt in organized religion. I do attend church sometimes, but I struggle with it. I prefer reading the bible at home and formulating my own ideas. I'm so sick of the shaming. Christ said to love one another! I'm not putting down all churches by any means as this is my experience. I'll leave it at that.

Edit: But I do get the distinction you’re making. If many of the people who self-identify as "Christians" actually followed the teachings of Christ, they’d be a lot kinder than some are.

@bijouxbroussard Funny it was indeed. Thank you for acknowledging my feelings on the subject. I just wanted to toss in my two cents. I feel it's a corrupt whatever it is. They absolutely destroyed the natives lives and it outrages me. It appalls me. I realize not all Catholics are like this, but personally I couldn't support an establishment like that. Absolutely corrupt.
