Why do they don't believe in religion anymore , even some abuses jesus and mary verbally.

Advances in fields of science.
Higher education became more available.
More people developed critical thinking skills.
Even if they did not attend university, more people became literate. They could read about History, Philosophy, and Science.
They could read the Bible themselves, and many probably started to question its content.
People started to question authority .
