Wouldn't this situation suck?!

Let's say you're a Bible believing, God fearing Christian who tried their best to do everything right. You spend you're whole life trying never to sin, and if you found out something you did or was doing was a sin you repented and did your best to never do it again.
Well one day you find yourself in an incident and you get shot. You yell out a swear word (which is a sin) and because you're in so much pain you never ask for forgiveness before you pass away.
When your judgement comes you go up before God and he tells you everything you did before you died was righteous, but you failed your last test since you swore before you died and didn't ask for forgiveness. And therefore he won't give you mercy but instead will give you your due and just punishment of being on fire and extreme pain nonstop for all eternity

Salvation is had by Believing Jesus and trusting that the Atonement He secured on the cross pays the penalty for all your sins...

Salvation is NOT secured by making sure you never fail in asking God for forgiveness.. If someone is teaching that then they are pushing a Works salvation doctrine and thus do not believe in the actual way of salvation through the work of the LORD Jesus..
