I just wanted to comment on a narrative that a lot of Christians put out.

That narrative is that it is a lie that you have time to repent and get right with God so you shouldn't put it off until later. I get the jist of this, as its essentially telling people that you can fall into a habit and keep putting off God to the point where you will never know who He is. However, I tend to disagree with this ticking clock, but I agree with the sentiment in another way. I mean chances are nothing bad is going to happen to you today and you will most likely see tomorrow. However, when you are living for the world and just to please yourself, you are living a very shallow and empty life that will ultimately leave you down and feeling empty. Once you turn your life over to the Lord and start living in the way that leads to life, your life will become much more meaningful and your spirit will be fulfilled. Not everyday will be all sunshine and rainbows, but you will be able to see that God loves you. So why wait around and torture yourself? Give your life to Christ today and know that God loves you and forgives all the bad stuff we did.
