Kinda thinking of converting to Islam.

Not because I follow in Allah (hail Tiamat) but because I want to wear a Burka without being disrespectful. Or maybe should I go the Nun route? I want my face covered though. I miss the lockdown when we got to wear face masks all the time.

I don’t like being perceived. I don’t like people knowing what I look like or knowing I exist.

Yes, yes, I know wearing a Burka would draw attention. Now that I’m thinking about it more, I feel like that would just target me for hate crimes. I’m Jewish but no one knows because I left the religion for my Goddess Tiamat .

@666Maggotz When you see other people on the street think how much you have in common with them. We are all in the same boat. Instead of feeling fear, anger or distrust toward others, remember the great majority are much too occupied with their own affairs to even notice you.

So you want to convert to Islam just because you want to wear Burka? Islam is a one way road. Experimenting is not allowed in Islam. Understand everything before taking any decision. Many ex-Muslims find it difficult to save their lives.
