I want to share this story of how I came to the UK.

When I was returning from my dream study destination, Italy, I was grateful, even though I couldn't stay, as praising Allah in all situation is a basic for Muslims.

I returned to my country and I needed to restart my master's programme abroad. By the time, I applied for UK, most of the universities of my choice had stopped taking new students, as there were a lot of applications for that year and for some universities, the study abroad agent didn't had a partnership with them.

Amongst 3 universities I applied to, one got refused because all the seats were booked and another one had no update. I accepted the offer from the only option. However, this university had a lot of interview refusals for a specific reason but I got in.

Then, I had to wait for the visa decision for a long time. The university classes had already started, and the deadline to register on campus was nearby. I still booked the flight, for the day before the last date to register. It was a big financial risk, on top of the bigger financial risk, which was the huge amount of tuition fees that I had sent abroad.

The night before the last date to register on campus, I was asking Allah to help me. I received the visa on that night.

Next morning, I took everything in my bags, and I went out to get the visa and I didn't return to the residence anymore. I collected my visa and then I went to the airport and I took the flight.

Next day, I was in the UK.

Now, I remember, many years ago, I wanted to study at that university, since I learned about it in an education fair. I had forgotten it but Allah didn't.
