The catholic church adopted it's monastic tradition from non-christian ways. In the bible, it literally says that if any man wants to be a bishop, he should be married, and have a kid, and keep his home in order. Literally the opposite of what the catholic church teaches. Saying that it's so spiritual and holy to not fuck and to not bare children, is silly. Holy matrimony is HOLY. Children are pure. Abstaining from that which is holy, and that which is pure, will not lead you to greater spiritual enlightenment.

Where the hell did the catholics even get this idea? It's literally the opposite of the bible...
