happy good friday everyone

Today is another milestone for my children least one of them my oldest son will join the men and older boys at the good friday prayer meeting at church. It lasts from noon to sundown. After that we have a churchwide potluck dinner that us women will meet at church around 4 to start getting ready for.

Wow, sounds like a nice gathering. What's on the menu for dinner? No meat, only fish. Right?

@sree251 thankfully we're not a church that only eats fish on friday cause I don't eat seafood. It's pretty simple meal though I brought chicken and mashed potatoes. All baptized church members fast on good Fri from 9am til sundown as well so all adults and older teens have not ate since breakfast

@sree251 we usually are the men and older boys spend the afternoon in the sanctuary in prayer services all boys over 7 attend least part that the younger ones usually leave once we arrive to prepare for the dinner right now we just fed the children they are playing and us women are gossiping and stuff till than
