I'm biblical christian & try to stick to commandments of the bible from YHWH. Tell me what y'all think. do you think I have to tithe? do you think that I'm free to do so on my own merit?

Well, in Micah it says to bring your offerings to the storehouse. So, it’s a command. How the churches uses the resources, they will be ultimately responsible to God for that. You just need to be obedient.
