I read Quran and found peace and new meaning of life

I fasted for one month and during day I read Quran as much as I can. Still didnt finish and keep reading every day for few verses.

And thinking maybe after this I should read Bible and Torah too. With Bible I have one issue. I see there are many versions. Some say Barnabas Gospel is most close to original.

What religous books you read?

@SomeMichGuy yeah it's what they keep telling us in Iran that is the closest to the original. I read some of it and it's just like Quran

Read the canonical Mark, Matthew, John.

Read it in an academically honest translation (the NRSV has footnotes showing alternate readings based om different sources; you'll see that they are minor).

Thomas is considered to be a contender for the common source supposed to have been used by the authors of Matthew, Mark, Luke (the "synoptic" gospels)...
