The Holy Spirit lives within us. We know right from wrong we can feel it in our bodies, in our hearts, our chests, our stomachs. Sometimes when you accept God in your heart you feel his warmth, a rush throughout your blood your body responds to in a way it would never respond to a lie. When you lie to yourself you feel empty and lost.

God isn't a book, an institution or an instrument to control others. That is why the fakers/idolers who bare the cross lose influence but it is Satan's will that mans lies and greed take them from the Spirit.
