I believe that All the Abrahamic religions will reunite.

So, Christians, Jews and Muslims are going to be ONE again soon. It is what I think.

If there weren’t a Holy Spirit then maybe. There are too many differences about the Messiah for me to see that.

@Pfuzylogic His belief is actually in line with the one religion statement that is prophesied in Revelations.

Your quote from Matthew is Jesus explaining to his disciples how people will be separated from each other when they choose to follow him through their teaching. It’s part of Christ’s an ointment of the disciples. I wish you had shared the entire passage for context. Quoting one small portion without it is what leads to so much confusion.

Matthew 10:1-42 says,

It is important to me that others particularly those not saved by the blood of Christ understand that the abrahamic religions have very little in common regarding their understanding of God.

Christians believe that [b][big]Jesus is God[/big][/b].
If Jesus isn’t your God then you are dead to God as far as any relationship.
The Holy Spirit is needed for salvation.
The outward baptism of water is only confirmation of the inside change of a believer. It isn’t the actual baptism of fire by the Holy Spirit!
@Pfuzylogic I understand what you believe. I believe it’s important that those not save see the before and after of a scripture quoted with context explained. One sentence without explanation doesn’t give them the “why” it was said. That’s important for someone to understand. Especially if they do not know Christianity.

Jesus said in the New Testament
John 14:6
I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me.
I can see your need for context but please remember the most important part.
There is NO godly amalgam of the three religions.

There is no compromise with Jesus.
Until he is recognized as Savior, people will die in their sins. The sacrifice of animals will not suffice to cover our guilt in disobedience to God.

@Pfuzylogic the post ia not for anyone to preach their religious beliefs. If we want peace we should accept each others beliefs. Beside god sacrificing himself doesn't make sence.

@HannaM this isn’t a debate about ideologies; this post is about the Abrahamic religions and that the promise of a Messiah came from the book of Genesis when Adam first sinned. There is no compromise with Jesus you either accept him as God or you don’t!

@Pfuzylogic John is my favorite book. We disagree on how to share the word and that’s perfectly okay. As long as we are sharing. I prefer to share in more of a teaching way.

I do believe we got off track from the original post and I’m pretty sure that’s my fault (my apologies to the OP).

I will can see that I wasn’t expecting your follow-up to my comment but I am not backing off of the essential meaning of it. that is the best way to have a counterfeit religion that has no authority/scripture to back it up.
The Jewish religion lost any authority once Christ was crucified.

There is nothing in scripture of anyone receiving the Holy Spirit except by Faith in Jesus. Anything short of that leads to condemnation. If Jesus is accepted as Savior than that person will be saved, Jew or Gentile.

After Jesus, salvation has nothing to do with physical ancestors of Abraham but spiritual ancestors.
