OR, we can voice our opinion in an amicable manner. We're not here to argue and it has to start with us. Even though we may not start the arguments, if we do, that just reflects badly on not only us, but the Lord. The Lord said to love everyone. There was no "if" in his command.

Allah is Satan? Mohammed was satanic? You neglect to see that your words mean something when people read them. Though you may not agree with her doctrines, it is disrespectful to this lady, to call any she worships, satanic. She could do the same, and you wouldn't like it. When others see you calling Allah, satan and Muhammad, satan, guess who they see as going on the attack, to a person of another faith. Christians! This solves nothing, and only turns people away from Christ. If you want to discuss doctrine or whatever with this woman, then Jesus said to do so in an orderly manner, with good conduct, in love, and in a peaceful manner. Without making personal attacks and accusations.

Your words certainly wouldn't make me want to run to Christ. Just the opposite. I see nothing but conflict and criticism in your words. I see you were the first one to attack this lady's post and the first one to criticize. This is not what genuine Christians do. Stop it! Both sides need to stop it. All these arguments and finger pointing, has never worked in all the history of man, so what makes you think they will work now? That goes for both sides! It is a lesson in futility and the knocking each other around, needs to stop now. We have to be willing to say change starts with us, not the other guy. Both sides have faults, but we can step up and say no... we are having no more of this arguing. It will never change a thing, except cause hurt in people's hearts and that's the last thing everyone should want.

If we want to point out tolerance, then we must practice tolerance. If we want to see change and love in this world, instead of hate and fighting, we have to practice the love of God, live it, and speak it.

Don't forget. Islam's and Muslims feel just as strongly, as what you wrote above, in their beliefs. It is not up to us to convince them to change their beliefs. Let go and let God. He will speak to people's hearts through the Holy Spirit. That's not up to us. We can share those things we love about the Lord and our faith but it's not up to us to change anyone. Only share. There's people out there wanting to know the gospel, but you're focus is elsewhere. Knowing that this will go nowhere, ever....please, let's just stop this. Both sides are just as guilty although there are some that go out of their way to deliberately cause friction. Let it not be said, of us.

You complain about Allah. Allah happens to be the standard Arabic word for God and is used by Arabic speaking Christians and Jews, as well as by Muslims. We believe in the same God....how bout that. The differences are in doctrine and the fact that they do not believe Jesus to be the Savior of the world. These are huge differences and our teachings are nothing alike, nor our doctrines, nor our books. But that's the way it is and to each their own. Differences can be discussed but not in a hostile manner. Not attacking each other. That's not the way Christians are to conduct themselves. If I had come here brand new and saw what you said to this lady, I would swear you're not in the Christian group. And I would turn abruptly away, as soon as possible. Jesus said to be set apart from the evil things that go on in this world. The world should be able to tell the difference between Christians and this world. Neither side is going to win. Jesus said to share his love and why he came, not to [u]preach at people.[/u] That only translates to people that you condemn them. That's not love.

There is no way to sugar coat it. Either you are filling the great commission or you are being a wimp. Jesus made a whip and chased the evil doers out of His temple. He was not a wimp. He commended John the Baptist because John spoke the truth plainly. It was said of Jesus that He spoke plainly and didn't mince words. Paul confronted Peter because Peter was wrong.

And then he turned to the lady whom they were going to Stone to death and even Jesus was not angry with her. He said, woman where are your accusers now? NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU...Go...and sin no more.

He told her with love and compassion, certainly not the way you talk to people. He did not even condemn her and he told her so. That's preaching love. Just the opposite of the way you present the gospel.
