i think you have a very narrow scope on how to view religion. somewhat like someone on the outside looking in and giving your perspective of what you see.
i wish you a lot of luck with that method.

Their sameness is uselessness, passivity and indifference. Self-comforting ideas alone don't make the world a better place and there is plenty of that among them.

If they don't want to be the same, they shouldn't be acting the same.

Only a very selective few are different.

This is the part that I find interesting and compelling.

It's not hard to understand how and why people collapse into self passification. It hard to really see how and why people actually awaken something in them.

There are only two kinds of religions and two kinds of non-religions. I know this for a fact. We must still specify which of the two religion kinds, but the task is simple enough.
