what does the Quran say about hell?
there really is no reference to it in MUCH of Christianity, even the term was from the norse pagans
@Dshhh No sir the term isn’t from Norse paganism.
And the Quran talks about hell in different places.
What specifically about hell do you want to know ?

@Islamreligion does Islam use the term “hell” Or is there an Arabic term that means the same thing. Hel, Only one L. Is indeed a term from norse mythology.,A place of ice for permanent punishment
@Dshhh
Quran was revealed in Arabic
Therefore neither hell or hel are there in the Quran
These are English and foreign words.
Even in Aramaic which is the language Jesus spoke
And even in Hebrew the word “hell” doesn’t exist.
In the Arabic original Quran it’s “nar” and “jahannam”
Which translate into “hell” or “hell fire “
And it is not a place of “ice “

@Islamreligion yes, i was aware of the etymology of that word, and the fact that Issa ben Yusef never spoke of it
i do not know enough about the Islamic afterlife to speak of it with any facility
