Human timeline of mythology and religion

It is interesting to see where all these myths originated from. I find it odd that anyone could believe that only one of these is correct, especially the ones further down that are just borrowing and repurposing things from earlier beliefs.

I tried to see if I could enlarge it.

Damn. I was hoping the image would still be clear when people zoomed in. @pillowprincess

@pillowprincess You can, but it won't help.
@helenS
Thanks for the correction in my bad English. D'oh 🤦🏼‍♀️
helenS · 36-40, F
@pillowprincess Why? If the picture had a higher resolution, zooming in would help.

@Imsleepy Could you provide us with a link? The picture is really interesting (from what I can see).
@helenS
Sorry, find someone else to start an argument with. It was what I tried to say in my less perfect English. We can't all be fluent at all times in foreign languages. I bet the OP understood what I was saying, judging by their response back to me. Why don't you go focus on your own stuff, rather than mine? Thank you!

@pillowprincess 😳
Sorry, I'll leave you alone now. Have a nice day.

I posted the link in a separate comment. Hopefully it is better. @helenS

@Imsleepy Much much better! What a comprehensive compilation. It's interesting that anthroposophy is included.

I’m not even familiar with anthroposophy. That chart has a lot that I wasn’t aware of. It has given me a lot of good stuff to research. @helenS

@Imsleepy The real relation between religions may be much more complex. I know, for example, that some scholars think that early Islam derives from pre-Nicaean versions of Christianity.

Yeah, I’m sure the most accurate chart would be much more complex for most of the religions. @helenS
