@MuslimBarbie No it is a historical fact. mohammed was illiterate so his sayings were written down by someone else. Then they were added to. Then they were added to and then they were added to not by mohammed but by others who all claimed to be writing down what mohammed had said long after mohammed was dead. Finally in the 1800s there was a push to edit the koran and thousands upon thousands of sayings attributed to mohammed were eliminated.

Yes Muhammed was an ummi, and when revelations came.there were scribes who wrote down the verses. This is also a prove that when Muhammed didnt know how to write he couldn't have wrote this Quran on his own, it is the prove that indeed it was revealed to him.
When ever something was revealed the prophet told them the order and everything...and when it was complied, there were strict rules as to how where and what to add, in the end everything was complied properly and ....with no mistake, it was rechecked by many!
And what u say that quran was edited and some verses were eliminated that never happened.

@MuslimBarbie Tens of thousands of 'sayings' were eliminated. The real question then becomes "What criteria was used to keep some and eliminate the others 1200 years after old mo was pushing up daisies? BTW did you ever look at the birthplace of mohammed as described in the koran and compare it to mecca? If you did what do you think of the huge discrepancies.?

@MuslimBarbie We are talking about the editing of the koran. not the haddiths. The koran was edited eliminating thousands of sayings attributed to mohammed in the late 1800s. That is simply a fact. The haddiths are a completely different story.

@MuslimBarbie You are trying to split hairs. allah is a rock. It does not speak to anyone. mohammed was listening to a demon not an angel of YAHWEH. The koran was edited in the late 1800s in Egypt.

@MuslimBarbie The koran took on its present form in the late 1800s in Egypt. FACT. Islam is nothing it not political. It was created not by mohammed but by tyrants who were seeking power. The koran has changed a lot over the years as one tyrant would destroy the works of another. Thus the birth place of mohammed moved from Jordan to Mecca and no one dared say "Hey Mecca doesn't look anything like what was described in the koran. There was no major trade route there. There is no flowing river there. There are no two columns guarding the pass there because there is no pass there. Very strange. Funny how people buy the religion but never check the facts.
