Islam does not allow the destruction of churches

Al-Haj - Verse 39-40
{
Permission ˹to fight back˺ is ˹hereby˺ granted to those being fought, for they have been wronged.And Allah is truly Most Capable of helping them ˹prevail˺. ˹They are˺ those who have been expelled from their homes for no reason other than proclaiming: “Our Lord is Allah.” Had Allah not repelled ˹the aggression of˺ some people by means of others, destruction would have surely claimed monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which Allah’s Name is often mentioned. Allah will certainly help those who stand up for Him. Allah is truly All-Powerful, Almighty.

Note to avoid confusion :
Allah is the Arabic word for God which people back then wether Muslims Christians Jews or pagans all used to refer to God.
(Many non Muslim Arabs until today such as Arab Christians still use the word “Allah” moreover , Allah is all over the Arabic Bible )

Many former churches are now mosques.
Hagia Sofia in Istanbul is a beautiful structure .

@SW-User change is inevitable. Spain was a Muslim country for centuries.

@AthrillatheHunt I agree but it's the hypocrisy that I cannot stand. And I mean from both (from all!) sides. I come from a hardcore Christian country which is what I blame my hatred for Christians on. But I see the same kind of hypocrisy everywhere.

@SW-User I fear the ultra religious of every religion. An ultra nationalist Jew assassinated Yitsak Rabin.
We already know what Muslim fundamentalists are capable of.

But the destructions of ancient temples is fine? Because I blame the Muslims and the Ottoman Empire as much as I blame the Christians for whatever happened to so many of the ancient temples, libraries and so many other monuments.
@SW-User
I never said such thing.
If you wish , I could make a post about that topic in the future.
SW-User
@Islamreligion No no no, you never said such thing, I know. It is, however, the reality.
@SW-User
There is a saying that goes like this

“The monkey in his mother’s eye is a gazelle “
There is no such thing as reality.
Reality is what you wish to see through your own lenses.
I will in the future , God willing , address this points of yours and when I do I will tag you.

Have a wonderful day sweetheart
