What do Muslims celebrate?☪️
For those who are curious to learn ‼️
Muslims have two :
1/ One is called “Eid al fitr “
Which translates as “holiday of breaking the fast “
where we celebrate the end of Ramadan (the fasting month )
2/ the second Eid is called “eid al adha” which translates to “feast day”
following the completion of the annual Holy Pilgrimage ( Hajj ) , it is a way to celebrate it.
(Even if you didn’t go on the pilgrimage yourself)
Also it is to commemorate the will of Abraham to sacrifice his son per God’s command.
We celebrate it yearly to remind ourselves we submit our will to God.
we give the slaughtered meat away to those in need and in hunger and also eat some of it with family.

Both are lovely and meaningful holidays that connect us to our family and society.
Both eids have gatherings , charity , gift gifting , Eid prayers etc
