I mean we have science now so a mysterious father figure in the sky seems unnecessary. Plus a lot of single mothers mean a patriarchal g-d is actually somewhat insulting. F--king Abrahamic religion

Science is a religion. Its worship is called scientism. It is not a very good religion but stupid people believe in it anyways.

@hippyjoe1955 im referring only to raw science data and the scientific method i know nothing of sciencism only rationality
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist You are pushing scientism by saying you are only talking data and the 'scientific method' You have no idea what you even mean when you say that. Here is a clue. Data does not answer any important questions. It is completely at the whim of whoever is posting it/interpreting it. As for the scientific method it is simply an attempt to negate what someone else thinks. It has no sound rationality to it at all. It doesn't answer any questions either.

@hippyjoe1955 and thats ur opinion i dont worship science i think its more reasonably than religion
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist what I posted is factual.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 sure and ultimately human interpretation of anything is the concern religion science everything. over time it becomes more unreliable and needs to be retested. I agree
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist So about those proven theories you mentioned ......
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 I never mentioned proven theories. nothing is really ever proven that's just the data so far
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist So what data do you imagine is accurate?
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 probably the most recent. Darwinism could use some retesting. though it makes some simplistic sense
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist It is complete bunkum and anyone who has an nangram of understanding would laugh their faces off at the idea or nothing from nothing for no reason.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 also the data says the woman is always right
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist If you say so. The Bible tells a very different story.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 it is a very old principle younger than religion but still outdated, at best.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 what story does it tell, to which you are referring?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist The fact is that science is coming closer to the Christian point of view all the time. Darwin was a racist and his theory was used by the rich and powerful in England to justify England's emprire.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 there is truth there and like ive been saying everything needs to be reexamined periodically. i9n the end science is finding the same truths as religion.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist You are not aware of the multiple statements that the Woman was deceived not the man?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist So why don't you look into Christianity and discover the truth.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 deception doesn't equal* blame
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist Oh? How did you come to that conclusion.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 I've tried and honestly 20 years of trying i've gotten more understanding out of you in the last 20 minutes
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist Good for you. I hope this will help you come to an even deeper understanding of Christianity. I am always amazed when people describe Christianity and it bears no resemblance to the Christianity I know.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 if I deceived someone to commit to something are they to blame for being deceived into their perspective? or does the blame fall on the person that did the decieving. Also it allegedly being written by men would u admit to the act. you do have the right to not incriminate yourself. no one wants to admit guilt and i wasn't there.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@exchrist No one was deceived. The woman KNEW that eating the fruit was a death sentence. She chose not to believe it.
exchrist · 31-35
@hippyjoe1955 Seriously you're helped me determine some things i have less of a grudge against Christianity more on Catholicism and even more against overly convinced humans. still religion needs to evolve. it's a different world now.
