If we are going to work with that logic
And Islam is an abrahamic religion we believe Mohammed to be the last prophet from God not a man who invented a new religion

And believe it or not there are religions that are older than Judaism like Hinduism

Hard to believe any of that because the Bible starts at the beginning of the human and the beginning of the earth assumed to be true at that time.

But the teachings of Jesus were always about Thankfulness, Forgiveness, and Sacrifice. Any religion that promotes this type of behavior is OK with me.

@Islamreligion You say that, but Islam was born about 1100 years after the death of Jesus Christ, although it supports the first 5 books of the Bible, it dismisses one of the first recordings in Genesis as a change in translation, Genesis in the first 25 verses says GOD said, on the 26th verse GOD said, let US make MAN in OUR image. This tells us that Man was made in the image of God, and Jesus was God, but also in the image of Man. This was documented way before the beginning of Islam. Yet Islam supports the life of Jesus as a major prophet, it does not display him as God in a man's body or God in Man's image. But certainly, the Islam faith supports every word of the Pentateuch, except for that verse. Why is that? They say the Jews changed it. Why didn't the Jews change anything else then?

@accidentprone Why would the Jews change the translation hundreds of years before Islam would start? If they were going to change it for Islam, they would have changed it because of Islam, and because of the start of Islam. What else would have motivated them to do it hundreds of years earlier?

The Bible was written fully [b]300[/b] years after the death of Jesus and not in the language he spoke daily with his disciples
But in koine greek
then rewritten and fabricated and messed with in the course of decades by bishops kings historians etc
Hence today you do not only have translations of the Bible like the Quran but versions too
Each arguing which version is more accurate and the truth . You even have many biblical books with unknown authors like hebrews they could have been rapists and you wouldn’t know.

the Quran was memorized word by word during the life of prophet Mohammed and written down during his life and under his supervision and only complied after his death.

Today the Quran is still memorized word by word in its original language by millions of people from around the world
Some have a chain of memorization going back to the most trusted companions of prophet Mohammed

It’s the most memorized secular and non secular book by heart.
If this is not God preserving his word Im not sure what is.

And we Muslims believe in the Torah that was revealed to Moses and gospel that was revealed to Jesus and psalms to David
However we believe those were corrupted with time hence why God sent prophet Mohammed
And the corruption is clear today in such books
With their contractions scientific mistakes etc

We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

@Islamreligion So as the Old Testament was documented 300 years after the death of Jesus, the Quaran did not get written until the life and death of Mohammad about 1100 after the death of Jesus. You are not agreeing to this truth.

@Islamreligion I stand corrected. Mohammad lived about 300 years after the death of Jesus, and 300 years after the Torah was written. But I guess the Quaran was not written until 1100. Anyway, my point is the Old Testament was written before the Quaran and since the Torah is supported by Mohammad, I suspect it is true and anything coming after it is either complimentary or false.

The Jews have always rejected Jesus, but they are the chosen people, so God always looks to have them as His own, but they always reject His words. But they still exist to this day regardless of their beliefs. I think this is a testament to God to keep his chosen people in existence.

again the Torah and the teachings of Moses came before the New Testament
& the Jews don’t believe in the New Testament
Why don’t they? They just don’t just like you choose not to believe in a new revelation which is the Quran.

The Quran which is another revelation from God just like how the New Testament was a new revelation form God after Old Testament

The corruption of the original message is the reason God sent Mohammed
That is why God since the beginning of time sent a prophet after the other because man kind kept corrupting the message and deviating from the straight path.

To us Muslims there is no racist thing such as “chosen people “ no matter what you do.

The reason there were many prophets from decedents of jacob that is because they themselves were good righteous people and deserved to be chosen to be prophets
not the bloodline itself
To us Muslims being Jewish is not equal to being chosen
