The religion of the globalist elite is gnosticism. This is not a conspiracy theory. Elaine Pagels is the hallmark theologian of the United Nations

and she is an avowed gnostic. The globalist establishment are gnostics and satanists. Gnosticism essentially teaches that Adam and eve were held prisoner in the garden of eden and the material world we are living in is a simulation that was created by the God of the Bible, who is malicious in their worldview, and the serpent or Satan in their worldview is the good guy; so Lucifer through his agent Satan liberated mankind from the garden from the oppressive regime of Jehovah by giving him the gift of intellect. And through the use of intellect, man will conquer nature, will conquer the earth and will himself become God. This is the Luciferian philosophy; it is taught in every masonic temple in this land, every secret brotherhood and every secret society, every mysitcal temple and every occult organization teaches the Luciferian philosophy.

These people are literally trying to fight a war against God. They know He exists. They know that the earth is flat. They know the proper biology and physics of this world, which is explained in the continuum mechanics and pleomorphic school of medicine. They know all of that stuff is real and they practice that themselves and irrigate that knowledge to themselves to gain power and they want to destroy the church and all the old ways of life.

You see the influence of gnosticism everywhere you look, in Hollywood movies like the matrix, in developing fields of scientism like quantum mechanics, new age spirituality and mysticism. It is gaining more and more traction in the popular culture. The foundation of all of this is a deep seated hatred for the God of the Bible.

This all proves what the Bible says in Ephesians 612, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

The one and only war that is transpiring on this earth is the war between the occult and Christianity.

Be on the winning side, folks. Read Revelation. We win. Jesus Christ wins the battle. Might as well get on the winning team now.

Do you even know what Gnosticism means? Where the word comes from?

And the Earth is FLAT?????

STFU dude. You're not even funny anymore🤦‍♂️
@room101 It is a term used by academics as a general term for a bunch of middle eastern sects (some not even Christian) that have a few points of common or similar beliefs, rituals, theology, or cosmology. As a term it is pretty useless for anything more specific than that.

It is like the term Abrahamic religions. Not terribly useful.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Close............but not really.

The word γνωστικός literally means having knowledge. Specifically, a knowledge in the distinctions between the material and the spiritual. In this sense, gnostics borrow a lot from Plato's Theory of Forms and his overall philosophy that the material world is but a poor representation of a reality which is metaphysical in nature.

Approx. 1900 years ago, some Jews and early Christians adopted and adapted this idea of gnosis. They emphasised personal spirituality above that of religious institutions. A concept which (when we think about it in the context of how many people in the world today have rejected formal religion in favour of, "I'm spiritual but not religious") is gaining a lot of traction in recent decades.

Obviously, both early Christian and established Judaic institutions were threatened by an ideology that advocated anything that diminished their power so, gnosticism was classed as heretical and much of its writings destroyed.

It survived.....ish and spread. I don't think "spread" is the right word here. What I'm trying to say is that, as people became more and more exposed to other cultures, similarities between Gnosticism and Hinduism, Buddhism and various other religions/philosophies with Mesopotamian roots, became apparent.

Bottom line, the OP doesn't have a single clue about that of which he speaks🤣🤣🤣
@room101 I agree for the most part. Although orthodox Christianity that won out is basically Christianized neo platonism.

And Plato's concept of forms is merely one of many characteristics that are labeled "gnostic".

But what I mentioned was the current application of the term gnostic in modern academia. It is at best a generic catch all.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Orthodox Christianity dates back to the original apostles. It is literally the oldest Christian denomination in the world. So yeah, I guess it "won out"😉

Greeks, both ancient and modern, make a distinction between γνωρίζω (gnoriso - I understand - I have the ability to comprehend) and ξέρω (xero - I know). It's in our language. Consequently, Plato used our/his language to convey his ideas. He could not do otherwise.

The concept of gnosis, of γνωρίζω (gnoriso) is fundamentally the foundation stone of critical thinking. One is not required to "know", one is required to comprehend and to apply that comprehension to the problem at hand. So yeah, it's a bit more than a generic catch all used by academics.

Going back to Gnosticism, in the last few hundred years, Gnosticism has become a cult adopted by so-called mystics.

Not really. What became orthodox Christianity was still a work in progress 200 years after the apostles were worm feed.

And yes that is all technically correct but it is not relevant as to how the term gnostic is used to categorize various sects.

Going back to gnosticism, yes, in the last few hundred years, Gnosticism has become a cult adopted by so-called mystics.

That is what OP is claiming but so called gnostics were not and never have been a single group or school of thought and often existed in different times and places.
@room101 Case in point. Both Sethians and Cathars are categorized as Gnostics and are separated by 100 years.

So are the Mandeans and they were not Christians are were basically a cult around John the Baptist.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Dude, I'm Greek. I'm a Greek Orthodox Christian. Please don't try to tell me about the history of my culture and my religion.

Orthodox Christianity begins with Christ meeting his disciples, after his resurrection, and instructing them to "build his church" ie spread his teachings. Obviously, if one doesn't believe in God etc etc etc........it's all just bunkum anyway. However, to a believer, that's how Christianity began. That's how Orthodox Christianity began.

If a term is used erroneously, whether to categorise sects or otherwise, it's still being used erroneously. People conflate (or confound - not sure which word is more appropriate) gnostic with Gnosticism. As I have tried to explain, they are two different things. Two different ideas.
@room101 Well first off we seem to be using orthodox in different contexts. Which is why I did not use it capitalized although the same largely applies be it Orthodox, Catholic or otherwise. What we know as acceptable non heretical Christian beliefs were developed long after they were dead. That is just historical fact.

What something meant 2000 years ago is interesting but not relevant to modern usage or how it is applied to modern study of the subject.

The word nice used to refer to someone who was a hypocrite but that has not been how that word is used in English for a few hundred years at this point.
room101 · 56-60, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow "Nice" idea.........I'm joking. The point is, both gnostic and Gnosticism are in contemporary use. Ergo, what gnostic meant 2000 years ago is indeed relevant today. As is what Gnosticism meant 1900 years ago.

What is a historical fact is that Orthodox Christianity existed from the very beginning of Christianity. What is a historical fact is that Christianity was little more than a secret cult (because of persecution predominantly by the Romans) for approx 380 years. What is a historical fact is that Catholicism began when Constantine made Nicene Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire.

I'm sorry Pics but, again, you are conflating a lot of stuff here which simply confuses all of it.

PS I thought that you were not capitalising the word Orthodox because, either it was a typo or, because (as a Marxist) you do not view religious titles as warranting any form of emphasis.
@room101 The difference is one application is actually relevant to this discussion.

This is contradictory. And what I said is essentially the last half of that.

I did not capitalize it because orthodox just means "proper" and used it in that context. Just like small c catholic just means universal.

It was not till hundreds of years after the apostles were dead that anything comprehensive was established. The Orthodox and Catholic Churches both like to pretend they are continuations of the teachings of the apostles but that just doesn't hold up from what we know historically. Don't forget these myths were political and existed as much to erase any schools of thought that did not comply with the accepted doctrines.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Sorry Pics, not going to go down yet another rabbit hole with you.

That's what the words mean. They are in contemporary use. The fact that you want to mash up the meanings is something for you to address, not me.

I've given you a very basic outline of how Christianity came to be. Take it or leave it. That, again, is something for you to address, not me.

@room101 Yes, I know that gnostic means to have knowledge. If you actually read and comprehended my post, you wouldn't have even asked me that question. You appear to know nothing about the actual beliefs of the gnostics. All you are doing is pontificating about the meaning of the word, whereas i have actually elucidated upon it and its connection to their beliefs. I have the Nag hammadi library and the works of a great naghammadi scholar, John Lash.

Apparently you don't have enough comprehension skills to realize that a part of what I was describing about their beliefs has everything to do with having knowledge, as when I stated that gnostics view Lucifer as the liberator who gave man the gift of intellect. Intellect...knowledge. You do know how to read, right?

You might want to actually read the gnostic gospels and other gnostic sources before you act like you know what you are talking about.

The gnostics believe that matter and the physical world is evil. They operate from an inverted hermeneutic whereby they go go the old testament and turn everything upside down. The gnostics did indeed teach that the God who created the physical world is is evil God. They taught that the real God is the ultimate depth and he had a series of emanations that emanated off of him, one of them was Sophia.

Sophia wanted to get back to him but she became frustrated and angry with him. Because she couldn't get back to him because it was forbidden to know him. And in her frustration she had a type of abortion. She created Yahweh and realizing she created a monstrous God as the gnostics taught, she cast him out of the cosmos into a remote area of the cosmos.

The gnostics consiser Yahweh to be an ignorant God with great power not knowing there were any gods before him and he therefore created the physical universe and so the gnostics teach that we are the product of an evil God and that he was cast out of heaven. You see the inversion there. Instead of Satan being cast out of heaven by the creator of the world and the universe, God is cast out of heaven and God becomes the devil in gnosticism.

They hate God. Gnostics teach that Sophia who was made by the ultimate depth became the Savior. How did she become the Savior? She had recognized what she had done by creating yahweh and him creating the physical universe, trapping us within this matrix.

So Sophia set out to let Adam and Eve know that they had a spark of divinity within them because they were ultimately transmitted from her and from the ultimate depth. She then channels the serpent in the garden with a message "ye shall be as gods". You know, by eating the fruit of the KNOWLEDGE of the tree of good and evil. Gnostics can call the serpent Sophia or whoever else but it is still the devil.

Therefore, gnosticism was used by Satan to get people to turn from the true God of the Bible to Satan. The gnostic gospel of Judas is a great example of this inverted hermetutic where they portray Judas Iscariot as the good guy.

Just like Satanists, gnostics invert and distort everything.

Humble yourself and stop acting like you know when you don't, and you might actually learn more in life.

@SW-User WOW! So many words..................that show nothing but your painful ignorance.

Total dickhead🤣🤣🤣
@SW-User This kind of blows up in your face when you learn Lucifer comes from Roman pagan mythology and religions and has nothing to do with the satan of the bible.
