Who are the prophets of Islam? 🌿
^
Muslims believe that God sent endless number of prophets (thousands ) to different communities throughout time
but these are the ones who are mentioned by “name “ in the Quran.
^
The Islamic belief about each prophet is the same.
———
“Allah “ is the Arabic word for the “one God “
&
“Muslim ” is an Arabic word that means “submission to the one God”
So we believe by “definition “ that all of the prophets were Muslims , from Adam to Mohammed.
Ali 'Imran - Verse 84
{
Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him."
