In Islam , and in the Quran the story of Noah is mentioned
The only difference is that the measures of the ship is not mentioned and it’s not specified if the flood covered the whole earth or not.
there is no where in the Quran where it specifically says “all of the earth was flooded”
So
A lot of scholars believe only the people of Noah were flooded and regions surrounding them and uncertain that all spots on earth were submerged under water
In my own opinion, I don’t believe it was all of the earth
Idk about other beliefs

@PhoenixPhail
Reminds me of one of my favorite John Prine songs ....
"...I got kicked off of Noah's Ark
I turn my cheek to unkind remarks
There was two of everything
But one of me
And when the rains came tumbling down
I held my breath and I stood my ground
And I watched that ship go sailing
Out to sea ..."

Maybe Noah picked them up, like a carpool.

Hmmmm ...
" ...Adelie penguins migrate in an 8,000-mile circle around the Ross Sea off Antarctica, on "fast ice" that develops during the winter. Doing so means they stay in sunlight, the clockwise migration taking them back to land and their breeding colonies for the summer months..."

@Heartlander Keep that “hmmmm” to yourself. You’re saying that because they can travel 8000 miles in their natural habitat that they can waddle hundreds of miles in the desert? You do realize this also has to apply to all Antarctic mammals too, right? You have walruses, seals, sea lions, etc these animals would immediately die the second they would set foot in that environment. Please come back to reality.

Don't underestimate penguins.

@Khonsu I can't answer that. Maybe they waited at a dock and the ship picked them up.

@Mamapolo2016 A dock where exactly 🙂?
