The 3 Abrahamic faiths? 🧐😯🤔 [I Religion]

The 3 Abrahamic faiths mainly differ on Jesus :

Judaism : Jesus is a false prophet who was born naturally. Never fulfilled the messiah/prophecy. God is one with no parts.

Christianity : Jesus was born of Virgin Mary and preformed many miracles. He is the true messiah and is god /son of god literally.
and an important part of the Trinity that must be worshipped for salvation. God is one in Trinity.

Islam: Jesus was born of Virgin Mary and preformed many miracles. He is the true messiah who was sent to the lost sheep of Israel with the gospel to preach the Monotheism of god. he’s a mighty prophet from god and not god. His message was corrupted And Mohammed is the last of the prophets. God is one, It does not befit almighty god to have a partner or an offspring.

Ps: I don’t care what your religion is or if you are non religious. This is only an educational post ! So please be respectful in the comment section💕

Your conclusions are correct. I will, however, add that not all Christians/Muslims/Jews agree on this.

@Northwest Correct…Jews don’t believe in “salvation through grace” at all. Who made this list?

@Northwest thx for the comment
I’m a Muslim , islam teaches the Muslim part that I described.
I know there are different beliefs even within Christians and Jews on Jesus and other things
But I wrote the brief general conclusion on Jesus in every religion.
@Northwest seems preety accurate.. not accounting for sectarian schism

@Moon3624 Jews were expecting the Messiah to return and kick some Roman ass and restore Jewish control over the land of Israel.

There was a shit load of “Prophets”, going around at the time, pitching themselves as the true Messiah. So, when Yashu’ ben Myriam, said: live your enemy and give what’s for Caesar to Caesar, they were like: screw that, you’re not the Messiah, you’re just a naughty boy (that last part is from Monty Python, but it’s probably close to what imagine they thought of him).

While the Qur’an teaches what you state here about Jesus and Mary (Sourat Maryam), your average Muslim in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Turkey, etc. does not make that connection, although I’ve seen tons of Shiite pilgrims at shrines of Mary).

@Human1000 yeah, my mom’s people don’t buy into that.
@Northwest your knowledge sounds extensive., I should be please to inquire with you

@plaguewatcher I urge people to do their own fact checking. I read the Qur’an and the New Testament. The OT is a lifetime thing, but a lot more colorful than the other two books.

@Northwest I’m a Saudi myself.
no one here doesn’t know the greatness of prophet Jesus May peace be upon him.
There is no one that does not know of his miracles , beautiful character and mightiness and that he was born of a virgin.
We learn about each prophet at school.
Many people are named Jesus/ عيسى here too.

Muslims also believe that his virgin mom is the best woman that ever walked on the planet according to the Quran :

However we believe he was like all the mighty prophets before him and after him (aka Mohammed )
Each prophet had his own specialty and miracles that was necessary for their time and people. God favored some over other in different aspects but overall theyr all the beloved servants and prophets of god and spread the same message that there is only one god worthy of worship.
The same god of Adam Noah Abraham Jacob Joseph Isaac Jesus Mohammed moses David etc

However yes I agree Muslims mention prophet Mohammed more
And that is norma since he is the last prophet from god and the prophet of our time with the last revelation and teachings.
Just like when Moses came
They appreciated all the ones before him but mainly focused on him
Same with Jesus
Similarly with Mohammed

@Moon3624 The Muslim conquests don’t really fit here.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@Human1000 Muslim conquests ? 🤔
This is a free speech platform
Just like how Christians Jews and atheists etc freely pray and post on here so will I.
Plus this post is an educational neutral post.
And my comments Below are respectful and within my knowledge.
If you don’t like, please move on💕.

So based on that verse , salam on you and goodbye I will not keep replying.
Human1000 · M
@Moon3624 No one is suggesting you don’t have free speech, but you also need to accept being challenged. If you don’t want to reply you are just ignoring being confronted. This is America, it’s what we do.

I’m not going to ignore history.

@Moon3624
However yes I agree Muslims mention prophet Mohammed more
It's not really about that. I've been to Saudi Arabia, and I would never willingly go back. On my entry form, I had to list my religion, and then had to lie and say I was Christian. If I had said "Catholic", "Jewish", or "Atheist", and I belong to all these groups, two by birth, and one by choice, I would not be allowed.

God forbid I criticize anything about Islam, while there, I would never see the light of day again.

While those in the know, and everyone in Saudi Arabia, is required to know the Qur'an, realize what Surat Mariam says about May, the general attitude is that only Muslims are allowed to practice their religion in Saudi Arabia. It is the law.

The Qur'an represented a huge leap forward in women's rights, back in the day, but women in Saudi Arabia today, have no rights, relative to women in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq (prior to our invasion), etc.

Then again, I also recognize that if Orthodox Jews, or Evangelicals have their way, women would not have rights either, but that's not the case, and today, the biggest worry, is militant, extremist Islam, which is generally supported by the Saudis, Pakistanis, Taliban, etc.
