I Am Fascinated By Science, Religion, and Philosophy
The importance of a Guru. Today is the day where Hindus spiritual or Yogic path, pays respect to all past and present Gurus. This is a very ancient and sacred tradition that have been practiced by Vedic tribes for thousands of years.
The beauty of a Guru, of the lineage of the tradition from which, in which you learn, the Guru teaches you what really matters! And encourages you to shed and let go of everything that doesn't... so this Gurupurnima, in honour of that, in honour of the tradition which has given me abundant blessings सदाशिव समारम्भां शङ्कराचार्य मध्यमाम् अस्मदाचार्य पर्यन्तां वन्दे गुरुपरम्परम् sadāśiva samārambhāṃ śaṅkarācārya madhyamām asmadācārya paryantāṃ vande guruparamparam Beginning with Sadashiva, through Adi Shankaracharya in between and upto my own teacher I bow with reverence to the entire tradition of teachers As Krishnanand B said "This applies to every guru that had ever walked on this earth in flesh and blood. The unsung heros many and a few we would have ever got the opportunity to hear."
@SW-User All I can say is , This ancient tradition is still being practiced by faithful spiritual Hindus who respects and follows the paths of their ancient Yogic gurus.
