I Want to Define My Own Religion
Religion... Such a touchy subject.
Personally, I believe in ALL religions! They all have similar stories... Horus, Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, even Astrology have the same general stories. Who is to say they didn't all really exist?... They could all have been real, they could all have been fiction. Why do we need to fight over who we believe in, or who came first? Nothing changes whether the chicken laid the egg, or the egg hatched the chicken... At the end of the day...
Does it really matter?
Have you ever tried to explain something on as massive of a scale as the whole world? In a classrom of 30 kids, there are at least 5 different ways needed to explain the same thing. Because not everyone understands things in the same way. What if ALL the stories, in ALL religions are true?
I believe they are, so I am creating my own religion, I shall call my new religion "Synonymous Umbrellacism" because all religions are just another way to say the same thing, and they all fall under the umbrella of this new religious composition.
People turn to religion when times are tough, when life is raining down on them, they seek protection from the storm through their religious faith.
People don't carry umbrellas when life is good and full of light, they take out their umbrella when the weather is dark and treacherous. Just like they do with religion.
