I Want to Talk About Religion Peacefully

So I see the non catholic, non Christian Pope - Pope Francis is condemning the islamic attack in New York saying that the attack was homicidal lunacy that abuses God's name to sow death. Memo to Francis the fake. allah is not the name of God. God is not the name of God. The word god describes a class of beings or things that people worship and thus is not specific. allah means 'the god' and is one of 364 arabic gods. mohammed found allah to be to be useful in the formation of his cult. After all the folks in his neighbourhood all worshipped allah anyways so it wasn't hard to convince them that allah was real. However Francis old boy, you who supposedly went to seminary to learn these things, the GOD of Judaism and Christianity is named YAHWEH which means I AM. Yes I AM is GOD but HE is not allah nor is allah YAHWEH. Maybe Francis you should step down and let a real Christian and real Catholic take over. You know someone like John Paul the second.

@SW-User If you think giving 'stuff' to poor people is the sum of Christianity you are truly clueless. Man does not live by bread alone. BTW I work with homeless men and women finding them employment so they can get their lives back together again after they realize they have let their addictions ruin them. The largest component of my work is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ who then truly helps the poor not be poor. Too bad the same can not be said of you. Of course atheists don't care about the poor. They only use them to accuse Christians of not doing enough.

I know the political / spiritual underpinnings of the modern day evangelicals all to well..
I studied with people in college who were going into the ministry..I studied with jesuits at another college...

Jesuits are not Christians. Not surprising the present pope is also a jesuit and he is not Christian either.

@SW-User You obviously didn't study theology or you would know that belonging to a sect or an order does not make you a Christian. Being Christian is something entirely different. Why don't you study a bit of Christianity and find out for yourself.

I did.i also grew up in a faith you probably know of ...( in the Pentecostal/charismatic vein) I ran the hell away from that as soon as I could...only grifters there.

There's something about his mannerism which doesn't quite gel; taking the issue of referring to someone as 'clueless' doesn't do him any favours. He's arrogant, self-opinionated and (apparently) isn't able to hold is own corner without (trying to) wind people up and all under the heading 'I Want To Talk About Religion Peacefully'. No matter what is here, it's apparent that he cannot do what the heading suggests.

... And that's crucial in regard to what is the topic. I've read Spiritual people, I've listened to Spiritual people and in both cases they've been what they purport to be. That comes about by patience, understanding what THEY consider to be lack of understanding by others and the strong desire to actually be the spirit of what the gospel is about.
