I Want to Talk About Religion Peacefully

So I see the non catholic, non Christian Pope - Pope Francis is condemning the islamic attack in New York saying that the attack was homicidal lunacy that abuses God's name to sow death. Memo to Francis the fake. allah is not the name of God. God is not the name of God. The word god describes a class of beings or things that people worship and thus is not specific. allah means 'the god' and is one of 364 arabic gods. mohammed found allah to be to be useful in the formation of his cult. After all the folks in his neighbourhood all worshipped allah anyways so it wasn't hard to convince them that allah was real. However Francis old boy, you who supposedly went to seminary to learn these things, the GOD of Judaism and Christianity is named YAHWEH which means I AM. Yes I AM is GOD but HE is not allah nor is allah YAHWEH. Maybe Francis you should step down and let a real Christian and real Catholic take over. You know someone like John Paul the second.

I think you need to go a bit further back than JPII. Maybe John XXIII or Pius XII.

@Endomorph No the popes you mention were catholic but not Christian. JPII was both. That is why is he sainted and the other guys are just notes in the history books.

@hippyjoe1955 John XXIII was in fact canonized the same day as JPII, but regardless, I have to wonder why the "infallible" church canonized a man like JPII who looked the other way at the abuse of so many children. I cannot accept that he knew nothing about it.

@Endomorph JXSIII set the whole scandal in motion. He was not a good pope and I am not even catholic.

@hippyjoe1955 There has been a culture of secrecy for centuries, I do not agree that John XXIII set the scandal in motion. However, it is probably dependent on which historian one reads. I don't know what your definition of a "good pope" is. If you write a story on the subject, I would be very interested in reading it.

@Endomorph I am not a catholic. I am a Christian. JXXIII was a terrible pope for Christians throwing out most of the Christian tradition in the mistaken belief that you have to be more 'inclusive'. He was wrong and the church suffered as a consequence. JPII began preaching the Christian message and people flocked to hear it.

@hippyjoe1955 I understand your viewpoint now. Thank you for answering my question.
