Have you truly loved someone?

Of course. I’m grateful we’ve found each other. With exes there was a lot of deep pining, always fighting for the ‘potential’ of who they could be/how the relationship could be ‘if only’ abcd. Sure, there were good times, but mostly just a lot of problems until it combusted. That’s all I knew of love for a long time. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Being with John is.. peaceful, warm, light, receptive, and supportive. Stuff comes up, but we talk it through to a solution and it’s not jarring. He’s become my best friend and a wonderful partner. 💓
