I Just Want to Be Loved and Accepted Just Like Everyone Else

@Fernie I only have one real life friend that I barely even see and my significant other left me recently. I feel isolated

@SolGryn Do you know what you have to do to change that?

@Fernie I have no idea. It helps to vent here and talk to nice people though

@SolGryn Yes, this does help but once you turn off the computer you're alone again. What keeps you from going out and engaging in life...making friends? No confidence?

@Fernie I have really bad anxiety. I mainly leave the house when I have to. Just going outside stresses me out

@SolGryn I get that. Are you getting any help with that? Many people do get help and can function in life finally. What are you doing to get better?

@Fernie a lot actually. I'm going to therapy, I've been to rehab, I work part time, and I'm on a response from the judge for medical aid

@SolGryn Good for you!!! Be patient and do the work. I know anxiety very well and I know it can be controlled. Keep us informed of your progress would you?

@SolGryn I find people here to be quite supportive to people with these kinds of issues. Many folks here suffer with anxiety...we've had many discussions about it. The times sharing things like this become a bother is when people just whine incessantly but do nothing to help themselves...clearly you are not one of them. Coming in now and then to talk about it and find like minded people is just fine.
