I Want to Be Loved

Then why is it so hard to let someone?

I've spent so much time around guys who don't care all that much and honestly I think I do it on purpose. If they don't give you much then you don't have so much to lose. Of course it's not a great situation to be in but I guess I was avoiding the heart ache of actually giving my all and losing it.

And here I am on the other side of that, having let go of someone who didn't care (rather easily I might add) and being faced with someone who cares a great deal and wants to be in my life as a force for good.

Wish me luck.

Scrutiny is terrifying.

@CheshireCatalyst not so bad if you can stay objective

@ZenKitzune I honestly just hate people staring at me lovingly though. I think they're going to see through me at any second 😖

@CheshireCatalyst I am currently very uncomfortable being someones idea of perfect. Any moment they will see that I am not.

@ZenKitzune exactly! I want someone to gaze adoringly at me and say "you'll do, despite your clear flaws you have attractive qualities which I am into"

@CheshireCatalyst Now that is romance lol
@ZenKitzune Maybe he views you as perfect for him, as is, with all flaws now existing or hereafter discovered. Here's an idea - inoculate him by preemptively confessing your flaws to him. I doubt he would care. And he might be willing to share his shortcomings with you. Then you can relax into the relationship.

@RandomUniverse That is what I'm doing.
