Sometimes I wonder..

Things are not so black and white in life,there's finances, family, and even happiness or contentment in some ways ,a sense of moral obligation etc that makes people stay in situations that are not ideal but I don't think it is as bad as it first sounds,it really depends on each case and how great the issues in the relationship are , I guess as long as there's respect and friendship one can find happiness outside of romance.

People are terribly afraid of being alone. And in many ways, a marriage is a business; there's a whole infrastructure to it that's disruptive and unpleasant to dismantle.

Talking to friends who are considering or going through divorce, I'm continually shocked by how many are worried about who will take care of them when they're older.

I would imagine there are many people who fall into that category. Fear of being alone is probably a large factor as well.

Sometimes its no better elsewhere

Probably most of they have kids

This is the standard after the age of 21 lol

will not get easier as ya get older
