First, welcome to your first post. Not sure I really follow the above. You were 16/17 and now 26-30 seeing a guy online and didn’t want to meet him?
My advice, clearly not understanding the situation, is the following: I know you said you are socially awkward, but it would be best to get out and meet other people. Use an app to find people/events with similar interests. Maybe there is also a trans support group that would be helpful. Perspective is everything and it is hard to get if you are limited to online. I wish you the best and hope it works out for you.

@IsitevenMe sorry for confusion I was barely awake, we did end up meeting after like 4 or 5 years talking. Only later parts did it get flirty. I didnt want to meet him and i wasnt sure and we have been together since. So i was 21/22.
